Simple Shifts, Lasting Change

After sharing the five key areas of midlife wellness, I want to take a moment to tell you about something that became a turning point in my own journey: the 14 Day Reset.

Before the Lord led me to it, I truly believed I was doing all the right things. I was trying to eat clean, move my body, and get enough rest. But still—my energy was low, my inflammation was high, and my brain felt foggy most days. Even gentle movement felt like a chore, and I was overwhelmed by the idea of making big changes.

If you’re in a similar season—tired, frustrated, and unsure where to start—I want to offer you some hope.

The Turning Point in My Wellness Journey

When I stumbled across the 14 Day Reset, it immediately felt doable. It wasn’t about overhauling my life or diving into something complicated. It was about small, nourishing habits—things I could actually stick with. And that made all the difference.

What surprised me the most was how quickly I began to feel a shift. The first two things I noticed were better energy and sleep—two things I had been praying for. Over time, the brain fog began to lift. The inflammation in my body began to quiet down. My autoimmune condition even went into remission. It was like my body could finally breathe again.

That was over two and a half years ago—and I’ve been living the 14 Day Reset lifestyle ever since. Not because I have to, but because I want to. These simple habits have become part of my daily rhythm, and they’ve served me so well. They help me show up as the woman I want to be—for my family, my friends, my students, and the life God is still writing.

If you’ve read through my wellness series and felt a little overwhelmed about where to begin, let this be your next step. The 14 Day Reset is a beautiful way to care for your body without pressure or perfection. It’s gentle. It’s grace-filled. And it works.
You were made to thrive—not just survive. And sometimes, all it takes is one small, faithful step in the right direction.

Let’s take that step together.

Meet Lisa Bailey

Life hands you things you don’t expect sometimes.

When I was 33 years old, I lost my husband to cancer after a 3 ½ year battle.  At the time, I had two small kids and was trying to do it all - homeschooling, run a small business, single parenting, make everything from scratch, eat healthy and take care of myself. I was afraid of stopping. I was afraid of feeling.  I was afraid.

Eventually, my body crashed.  I was grieving deeply, struggling physically, dealing with anxiety, and I didn’t know how to move out of that place.  God orchestrated circumstances and placed people in my life to help me deal with these issues through counseling, moving, and starting fresh.  He opened the door and helped me heal both emotionally and physically, and placed resources in my life that have made a huge difference.

I now feel better than I have in many years and have healed from many things. Grief still shows up, and I have to pull back and work through it, but because I am healthier, it doesn’t consume me. Restoration and healing didn’t happen overnight, but it did happen.

You don’t have to do this alone.  Let me walk this journey with you to hope and wellness.
