Four printable resources to help you navigate grief, reflect on God's Word, and find encouragement through loss.

I thought I would do something a little different on the blog this week. At the end of each post, I share links to the grief resources I've created to help others as they navigate their grief journey. Today, I wanted to give you a closer look at those resources and share a little about each one.

With Christmas coming up, these resources might be a thoughtful gift for someone who is grieving. Or perhaps one of them is something you'd like to have for yourself as you work through your own grief.

To be honest, I wish I had resources like these when I was newly widowed. I spent so much time trying to process everything I was feeling, and there were times when I didn't know what to do with all the emotions I was carrying. Having something that gently guided me through that process would have been helpful.

All of these resources are digital downloads, so you can access them as soon as you purchase them. You can print them at home or take them to a local print shop if you prefer. Another benefit of digital downloads is that you can print the pages again whenever you need them for your personal use.

Maybe there's a particular page in a grief journal that you find especially helpful, or a Scripture card you want to keep close by. You can print those pages again and again, giving yourself the freedom to return to them whenever you need them.

I'll share a sneak peek of each resource below, along with a little more information about what you'll find inside. And as a special thank-you to my readers, I'll also be sharing a discount code you can use in my Etsy shop, Hope & Harmony Pages.

The first three resources are designed to work together, but each can also be used on its own. Whether you're looking for daily encouragement, gentle guidance as you navigate grief, or Scripture to turn to on the hard days, these resources were created to help you feel less alone as you walk through loss.

This gentle, faith-filled journal is for anyone walking through the pain of loss. Each day includes a carefully chosen Scripture, a reflection prompt, and a short prayer to help you process your grief and draw near to the Lord.

With space to write and a daily gratitude section, this journal offers a place to acknowledge your feelings, reflect on God's faithfulness, and begin to notice moments of hope, even in the midst of sorrow. And because grief doesn't always fit neatly into a page, there's also a Notes section where you can write as much as you need.
Whether you're newly grieving or finding yourself feeling stuck in sorrow, this gentle, faith-based guide offers small, meaningful steps to help you navigate life after loss.

Each step includes a Bible verse, encouragement rooted in Scripture, gentle action steps, a short truth to carry with you, and space for notes and reflection.

You can work through the guide at your own pace, taking one step at a time or going through all five steps in one sitting. There's no right or wrong way to use it. My hope is that it will remind you that God meets you in your mourning and walks with you through each step of your grief journey.

Sometimes, when grief feels overwhelming, finding the words to pray or knowing where to turn in Scripture can be difficult. These 30 Scripture cards were created to offer reminders of God's presence, love, and faithfulness when you need them most.

Keep a card on your nightstand, tuck one into your Bible, carry one with you, or place one somewhere you'll see it throughout the day. You can turn to a verse that speaks to what you're experiencing or simply read one when you need a reminder that God sees you in your grief.

These cards are a simple way to keep God's Word close during a difficult season.

If you're looking for a more comprehensive journaling resource, this 40-page grief journal offers a gentle place to process your emotions, reflect on your loss, pray, and make room for moments of hope.

Inside, you'll find guided journaling pages, prayer journaling pages, self-care prompts, and reflection pages created to support you as you navigate bereavement. There are also practical pages to help you organize your grief support team, notice emotional patterns and triggers, and consider ways to care for yourself during this difficult time.

This journal can be used at your own pace, returning to the pages that are most helpful to you whenever you need them. It can also be a thoughtful addition to a grief care package for someone who appreciates writing and reflection.
The journal is available in three designs, so you can choose the one you like best:

I created these resources because I know how difficult it can be to navigate grief, and I want others to have gentle, faith-filled tools to turn to along the way.

You can find each resource in my Etsy shop, by clicking hereHope & Harmony Pages, and navigating to the Grief and Loss section, or the links above. If you have questions about any of them, please feel free to leave a comment or email me at basner98@gmail.com. I'd be happy to help!

And as a special thank-you to my blog readers, don't forget to use the discount code LIFEAFTERLOSS20 at checkout to receive 20% off your purchase of anything in my Etsy shop.

Grief is a deeply personal journey, and no resource can take away the pain of losing someone you love. My hope is simply that these tools offer a little encouragement, a place to put your feelings into words, or a reminder of God's presence on the days when you need it most.

I have created a few resources for anyone walking through grief. They are designed to help you navigate loss, process your feelings, and find hope again. You can find them in my Etsy shop here:

Meet Lisa Bailey

Life hands you things you don’t expect sometimes.

When I was 33 years old, I lost my husband to cancer after a 3 ½ year battle.  At the time, I had two small kids and was trying to do it all - homeschooling, run a small business, single parenting, make everything from scratch, eat healthy and take care of myself. I was afraid of stopping. I was afraid of feeling.  I was afraid.

Eventually, my body crashed.  I was grieving deeply, struggling physically, dealing with anxiety, and I didn’t know how to move out of that place.  God orchestrated circumstances and placed people in my life to help me deal with these issues through counseling, moving, and starting fresh.  He opened the door and helped me heal both emotionally and physically, and placed resources in my life that have made a huge difference.

I now feel better than I have in many years and have healed from many things. Grief still shows up, and I have to pull back and work through it, but because I am healthier, it doesn’t consume me. Restoration and healing didn’t happen overnight, but it did happen.

You don’t have to do this alone.  Let me walk this journey with you to hope and wellness.
